Nurse Care has a dedicated team of home support workers, personal carers and nurses who can support you to remain healthy, happy and comfortable at home.
The staff at Nursed Care come from diverse backgrounds, but all share one thing- a desire to work with, care for and empower people with a disability to achieve their goals.

Help offered by a Support Worker
Whether you need personal, social or home care, we are here to help you with the tasks you find challenging. If pain, disability or restricted mobility have made it harder for you to carry out the tasks of daily life, then we are here to help.
Our services are flexible, and our staff are friendly and professional. We can help you to stay at home and feel safe in your space.
NDIS Home Support Services
The National Disability Insurance Scheme is an initiative of the Australian government, to deliver home, community and social services to people with a disability living here in Australia. The model puts you, the client, at the heart of a plan which is developed just for you.
Home Care for older people
We also offer home care services for older people through the My Aged Care program. If you are over 65 years of age and have:
- noticed a change in what you can do or remember
- been diagnosed with a medical condition
- experienced a change in family care arrangements
- experienced a recent fall or hospital admission
then you can receive subsidised home help through the government.
How to make payment for home care services
Your NDIS program plan outlines the services you are entitled to, and allocates funding so you can pay the services providers who are assisting you. Either you can process the payments for services yourself, or you can have support workers assist you with the administration of your plan.
Support Worker checks
All of our employees at Nursed Care have undergone an NDIS screening check, meaning that the government has deemed them eligible to work with people with disability.
We also ask workers who will support families with children at home to undertake a children check for the safety and peace of mind of parents and carers.
Matching your skills and interests
Nursed Care support workers come from a range of cultural and community backgrounds, and have a diverse mix of skills and experiences. We will do our best to match you with support workers who you have something in common with, in line with your personal preferences.
What services do support workers provide?
Support workers carry out a range of duties to enable people with a disability to live independently and enjoy life. The types of tasks Nursed Care staff can carry out include:
- Providing support with personal care, hygiene, bathing and dressing
- Carrying out or helping with housework
- Preparing meals
- Helping develop social skills and improve relationships
Home support for people with disability
Our staff are familiar with working with people with complex medical needs and a wide range of disabilities such as multiple sclerosis and cerebral palsy. We support people with dementia, autism and mental illness.
We also take on private clients who are not registered or eligible for the NDIS but who wish to access disability support.
Our staff will take the time to understand your needs and preferences and provide services to suit you.
Providing a break for carers
If you are a carer for someone in your family, you may wish to seek some assistance to take a break from your caring role.
